    • You should plan to set up on the day of your performance. You can set up anytime after noon. Most groups set up around 3 or 3:30 pm, then do their soundcheck before the show starts.
    • The performing group provides and operates their own sound equipment.
    • Ed will be available while you set up should you have any questions or need access to the garage.
    • Groups are allowed to set up a table to sell cds and other merchandise related to the group’s operations such as hats, t-shirts or other souvenirs.

    STARTING TIME:  6 PM

    • The concert should begin at 6 pm. Please be ready 15 minutes before (5:45 pm) to speak with the MC.
    • You may kick off your show or we sometimes have an MC who will kick off the show and make some announcements.
    • We will have the MC come up mid-show to announce the offering and offer prayer. This also provides a short break for the band.
    • Ed’s Music is considered a Christian outreach. Groups should attempt to have approximately 80% of their songs be gospel in nature. The rest can be love songs, classic country, etc. – refraining from songs about drinking, cheating, and wild living.

    HOW DOES THE OFFERING WORK?

    • Ed’s Music will provide an opportunity for the audience to make donations to the band by way of passing baskets through the audience during a break in the program.
    • Around 30 or 40 minutes into the show, the MC will come up, say a prayer, and manage the offering.
    • Ed’s Music will provide the buckets and volunteers to pass the buckets for the offering.
    • 85% of the offering goes to the band. 15% of the offering is used for expenses related to the show (insurance, utilities, advertising, etc.).
    • The balance of the offering is given to the band at the end of the night.
DISCLAIMER: Ed’s Music disclaims any responsibility for and your group shall be solely responsible for any tax consequences related to such offerings / contributions.
DISCLAIMER: Compensation & Deposits – Ed’s Music does not require a deposit to book and no compensation is paid to the band by Ed’s Music.

    HOW LONG SHOULD WE PLAY?

    • Most of our groups play an hour and a half, from 6 to 7:30 pm. If you plan to play longer, please wrap up by 8 pm.
    • Depending on the weather, some groups may only play an hour if it’s a cold evening. You make the decision if you need to wrap up early due to weather.
    • For rain-outs or should you decide you need to reschedule – we will work with you and try to reschedule for another time based on openings in the schedule. We cannot guarantee reschedules but will work with you and try to find an opening.
