For over three decades, Ed’s Music has provided at stage for musical performances, captivating audiences with the soulful tunes of gospel, classic country, and bluegrass. What began as a modest gathering initiated by Ada Detweiler, Ed’s mother, in the mid-90s, has blossomed into a beloved tradition known as “Ed’s Music.”
Ada Detweiler, with her love for music and community, initiated the tradition by hosting music sessions every Saturday evening.
The inaugural performers, known as the “Pinecraft Pickers,” set the stage for what would become a cherished February tradition. Since then, Ed’s Music has become a haven for talented musicians, attracting a multitude of winter residents from Pinecraft and Sarasota.
Throughout the month of February, Ed’s Music comes alive with the melodies of various musical groups, each bringing their unique flair and energy to the stage. From toe-tapping rhythms to heartfelt ballads, the performances cater to a diverse audience, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
